Q: Are there any side effects to Photorejuvenationtherapy?

A: There are no side effects to the procedure, it is completely painless. The worst reported is immediately after treatment which includes flushed skin, brown spots appear darker and capillaries may become more visible which is only temporary. Most of our products make you feel more relaxed.

Q: If I am taking Accutane or other acne medicines can I use the product?

A: It is recommended that you do not use any products such as Retin-A, glycolic acids, vitamin-c before and after your treatments as it may irritate your skin.

Q: When will I start seeing results?

A: Most people see results within days to a few weeks. Many people have reported seeing a smoother, brighter, more even complexion in the first week.  Regular use of the handheld devices is beneficial to maximize your results. The results are different for everybody and depends on other factors which may speed up aging such as smoking, unhealthy diet and drinking alcohol. Q: What is the difference between a negative ion and a positive ion?

A: Positive ion helps open the pores and improve elasticity while the negitive ion closes pores and helps reduce oil production

Q: I have acne what is the best product for my skin?

A: I recommend any of our products with both red and blue light. Research shows that a combination of both red and blue can be extremely effective in treating different cases of acne. With the power of both lights, it will quickly enhance skin cell renewal, remove pigment drains, improve blood circulation and shrinks pores. According to several studies the combination of the red and blue light gives the best results in diminishing and eradicating acne by more than 70%, that is over 5% Benzyl Peroxide and 2% Retinol.

What skincare products is the best to use with Photorejuvenationtherapy?

A: Photorejuvenationtherapy devices can be used with your own skincare which makes it easy to use everyday. (Read above as to which products are not recommended.) At the start of your treatment you should cleanse your face with your favorite cleanser. While you use the device it is best to apply a serum or gel and once that has been completely absorbed in your skin, apply your regular cream or lotion for the remainder of the procedure.

Q: Can I use any of the Photorejuvenationtherapy products near my eyes?

A: Yes, all of our products are safe enough for under the eyes. Make sure you do not stare directly into the light at any time. It is recommended you use an under eye serum or gel during treatment and then finish off with a cream or lotion.
